What is a cocoon natural cleanser

more details
Mayudama are cocoons of silkworms that are made of 100% pure silk threads when they pupate. The finest silk cocoons are those made by a silkworm type called "irodori".
They are being produced in the prefecture of Saitama, which is famous as a growing area for high-quality cocoons. There's a big difference compared to other beauty
cocoons concerning texture and effect. Silk cocoons contain natural protein and "sericin". The "sericin" has a similar composition just
like our skin and can thus be quickly absorbed and provide moisture. What's more, it also helps control the synthesis of melanin.
In addition to the high antibacterial and antioxidant nature there's an extraordinary beauty effect, such as the conservation of the skin's moisture and warmth,
or absorption of UV rays. The "irodori" silkworms have a slight yellow color and contain 10 times the beauty components than normal silk cocoons.
There is a beauty effect even just by adding it to your bath water.
The effect
This time we made a trial test with a few of our female staff members who are interested in beauty treatments. First each of them took one sample home to try it out.
The next day we had a meeting to talk about the impressions and experiences after using the beauty cocoons.
There was a very positive feedback coming from our Russian staff member Maria and Norwegian staff member Hanne who had tried it out after taking a bath.
Both were really surprised how silky the skin of their face had gotten after using it.
Ines, a Croatian staff member, couldn't really feel any effect in particular.... The Japanese staff member Haruka said that when looking at the cocoon carefully afterwards,
she was surprised that it was somewhat "dirty". It made her realize that the cocoon had really deeply cleansed her skin.
How to use?

First we let the beauty cocoons soak in 40°C hot water for about one minute.
(The more water they absorb, the easier they are to use)
Once they absorbed enough moisture and got soft, we tried massaging the face, the back of the hand and the elbow. After massaging for a short while,
it seemed as if the silk component of the soaked cocoons was slowly coming out and it felt a little like using a face lotion.
The soft silk threads then cleansed the skin's surface, and after another few minutes of massaging the skin felt like velvet and silky smooth.
It's a pity that the pictures cannot convey the silky smooth feel of the skin.
When you want to relax...
The effect is, of course, bigger when you use it at home after taking a bath or shower compared to quickly trying it out in the meeting room.
The staff members took the remaining cocoons home and used them while relaxing in a bath. Their skin got even softer and smoother than imagined.
It also seems to have a positive effect, if you use the beauty cocoon after you've warmed up your skin and slowly massage the face in circular movements.
I was surprised how different the effect was compared to the first time using the cocoon.
You can use the cocoons several times. Our staff members all used them for another few days. You can use the same beauty cocoon for an average 3 to 5 days.
If you scrub too forcefully, you can hurt your skin. That's why it's important to use them slowly, gently and when you're relaxed.
